Confirmation | Sacrament of Confirmation | Catholic Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is a large stepping stone in a Catholic’s walk of salvation. Confirmation is where a Catholic renews himself in Jesus and it is around the age where a young man begins to turn into a man. Confirmation, if the young man chooses to accept this sacrament, helps a person that is a spiritual child begin his or her journey to a spiritual adult. Confirmation strengthens these gifts given to the spirit at Baptism: 1. the gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, knowledge, piety, fear 2. the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, charity, and generosity 3. the virtues of the Holy Spirit: faith, hope, charity, fortitude, justice, prudence, and temperance.
