The Fall of Adam and Eve and the Relationship that God made a covenant oath to his Chosen people (Israel) that through a Virgin woman God would send a new Adam. (Isa. 7:14) 14* “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, a young woman* shall conceive and bear* a son, and shall call his name Immanu-el”. (Immanuel means God with us.)
Paul makes it Clear that Jesus is the new Adam. Rom. 5:14 * 14* Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sins were not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come”.
1 Tim. 2:13-14 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14* and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, * if she continues * in faith and love and holiness, with modesty.
After the fall of Adam and Eve we notice God stating that a woman and her seed will defeat the serpent by waging war and eventual crushing the serpent head while the serpent is wounding the woman and her seed’s heel. In Gen. 3:15 who is the Woman?
Gen. 3:15 “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."
The Woman Eve has just fallen out of Gods Graces and is in Spiritual death with God.
Gen. 3:2 “and the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die”.
