Saints are the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church. Throughout history the saints have renewed, strengthened, and reformed the Church. By their prayers, sacrifices, and teachings, the saints have faithfully and loyally helped the Roman Catholic Church form into the oldest and largest body of Christians in the world. They have labored over the construction of churches; they have spent countless hours teaching and praying for all Christians and the perseverance of the Catholic Church; thousands of saints have given up his or her life for Jesus and the mission of the Roman Catholic Church. The lives of the saints have brought testimony to the Word of God and have shown all people that God can use poor people, rich people, criminals and all people to do great things as long as they are willing to have faith. It is by their prayers that the Roman Catholic Church still exists. The following pages are an in-depth study of the beliefs and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church concerning saints.
