In Rev 5: 6. Then I saw standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and the elders a Lamb that seemed to have been slain. (This needs more but time forbids)
We can see here Jesus is our lamb and also as our priest and as our King. Still standing as he continues to give us the bread His body and wine his blood to take away our sins and is our food to nourish with grace so we can follow and obey his will.
Through our worship our liturgy we can understand, not how to perform the mass but where John is caught up in the spirit on the Lords Day ( Sunday) when he sees the mass in heaven going on with us praising God.
Holy Communion:
The Priest says: Happy are those who are called to his supper. What Supper???
Wedding Feast of the Lamb.
Rev19: 6-8. Then I heard something like the sound of a great multitude or the sound of rushing water or mighty peals of thunder, as he said: Alleluia The Lord has established his reign, God, the almighty. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory. For the wedding day of the Lamb has come, his bride has made herself ready. She was allowed to wear a bright, clean linen garment. The linen represents the righteous deeds of the holy ones.
Who’s wedding is it? Who is the Bride?
Who are the Holy ones?
