The Mass, Catholic Mass, Sunday Mass

As the story continues, God commands Moses to build a container called the Ark of the Covenant and to place the WORD of God the two tablets in Ark making it the holiest thing on earth. The Ark becomes the presence of God. We know this because the cloud was by day and the fire by night as the Ark leads his people through the desert. The Ark was used to go in front any time they wanted to win a battle. God told them to circle walls of Jericho seven times and the walls fell down with out any effort from the Israelites. Men who touched the Ark died. Then the Ark had to be kept in the Holy of holies, which was the temple that only the high priests could enter and only once a year. The priest had specific procedures they had to follow in purifying themselves before they would be worth and right with God to enter the holy holies. They would tie a rope around the High priest ankle to drag him out if he was not worth to go in and died inside. God has always been with his people through and in his WORD.
But the physical WORD of God was lost for the 500 years before Christ when Jeremiah hid it from Babylonians when they came to destroy the Temple. Lets read it again

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being.
John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.”
Matt 1: 22 “All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet” 23 "Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel," which means, "God is with us."
The WORD became flesh and Jesus was incarnated. Now God is with us in a more fulfill and deeper and more complete way.
